Carl-Peter Forster joined the Group as an independent non-executive director and Chairman-designate on 1 May 2016, and was appointed Chairman of the Board on 1 July 2016.
Carl-Peter formerly held senior leadership positions in some of the world’s largest automotive manufacturers, including BMW, General Motors and Tata Motors (including Jaguar Land Rover).
Carl-Peter is Chairman of the Board of Vesuvius plc and the Senior Independent Director at Babcock International Group PLC. He is also Chairman of StoreDot, a member of the Kinexon GmbH Advisory Board, and a member of the Boards of The Mobility House AG, LeddarTech Inc., Gordon Murray Group Limited, and Envisics Ltd.
Carl-Peter was previously a non-executive director of IMI plc, Rexam PLC, Rolls-Royce plc and Cosworth Ltd, and previously served as Chairman of The London Electric Vehicle Company Ltd and Friedola Tech GmbH, and as a member of the Boards of Volvo Cars Corporation and Geely Automobile Holdings.
