Our advanced Radio Frequency (RF) countermeasure chaff cartridges are used as a defence against radar-guided weapons systems.

Chemring Countermeasures UK has always been a pioneer in chaff countermeasures and continues to lead the way in the design and manufacture of passive RF expendable countermeasure products and payloads, the latter of which can be readily tailored to meet the latest Radio Frequency threats.

RF - Chaff CM CCM 118 Mk3 Type 1

The Radio Frequency Chaff Cartridge 118 Mk3 Type 1 forms part of a defensive aids system to protect the host aircraft from passive radar-guided missile threats by providing a suitable alternative and preferred target or ‘decoy’.

RF - Chaff CM CCM 188 Mk1 Type 4

The Chaff Countermeasure 188 Mk1 Type 4 is a training round to function and provide radar signal return without interference to civilian authority radar.

The Chemring Countermeasures UK’s chaff countermeasure CCM RR188 is a direct fit, form and function replacement for those of USA origin.

RF - Chaff CM 26mm Mk3 Type 1

The Chemring Chaff Countermeasure 26mm forms part of the defensive aids system to protect a host aircraft from radar-guided missile threats by providing an expendable chaff payload as a suitable alternative and preferred target or ‘decoy’.

RF - Chaff Cart CCM 129 A/AL (36mm)

The Chaff Cartridge CCM Radar Reflective (RR)129 forms part of a defensive aids system to protect the host aircraft from radar-guided missile threats by providing a suitable alternative and preferred target or ‘decoy’.

RF - Chaff Cart CCM 144 A/AL (36mm)

The Chaff Cartridge CCM Radar Reflective (RR)144 forms part of a defensive aids training system in the protection of the host aircraft from radar-guided missile threats.

The purpose of the training decoy is to provide effective feedback in order to assess the capability in the use of the countermeasure.

RF - Chaff Pack BOL Mk2 Type 1

The Chemring/SAAB developed BOL chaff pack is used with the BOL dispenser.

The innovative BOL dispenser utilises the redundant space in the LAU-7 missile launch rail.

RF - Chaff CM MEB Mk1 Type 1

The Radio Frequency Modular Expendable Block (MEB) forms part of a defensive aids system to protect a host aircraft from radar-guided missile threats by providing an expendable chaff payload as a suitable alternative target or ‘decoy’ to the tracking radar. The MEB Mk1 can be used with any 6 x 5 dispenser employing digital dispensing control.

RF - Chaff CM MEB Mk3 Type 1

The Radio Frequency Modular Expendable Block (MEB) forms part of a defensive aids system to protect a host aircraft from radar-guided missile threats by providing an expendable chaff payload as a suitable alternative target or ‘decoy’ to the tracking radar. The MEB Mk3 Type 1 can be used with M147 or upgraded M130 dispensers employing digital sequencer switching.

RF - Chaff CM MEB Mk4 Type 1

The RF Modular Expendable Block (MEB) Mini forms part of a defensive aids system to protect a host aircraft from radar-guided missile threats by providing an expendable chaff payload as a suitable alternative target or ‘decoy’ to the tracking radar. The MEB Mk4 Type 1 can be used with the Thales dispenser, which employs digital dispensing techniques.
